Bali National Golf Club celebrate Australia Day at the golf course

Nusa Dua, Bali – Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on 26 January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales, and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip. In present-day Australia, celebrations reflect the diverse society and landscape of the nation and are marked by community and family events, reflections on Australian history, official community awards and citizenship ceremonies welcoming new members of the Australian community.

For the third times, Bali National Golf Club and all golfers were celebrating the festivity of Australia Day in Australia Day Golf Tournament on Saturday, January 26, 2019 with shotgun at 12.30 PM. The tournament was not only for Australians, but it was for everyone who would love to experience the celebrations and festivity of Australia Day. Entry fee for the tournament is IDR 1.500.000 per golfer which includes Golf Fee and Aussie BBQ dinner. All about Australia was prepared to give an Australia Day experience, it was not only decorations but also well-known snacks from Australia such as Vegemite Sandwich and Lamington Cake.

“This event is now become one of our signature events, this year is the third times we have Australia Day Golf Tournament. The enthusiasm from golfers for the event always amazed us. They come to the club dressing up in Australia Theme. One thing we also love from this event, golfers come with the spirit of celebrations, when people are happy it reflects to the ambience. It becomes so much laugh, joy and fun.” Said Mark Holland, General Manager for Bali National Golf Club.
