Dear Members and Guests to the Bali National Website,
We are approaching the final stretch of 2014, the year that saw the re-opening of Bali National Golf Club. The American holiday of Thanksgiving rapidly approaches as well; as the GM I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to the people who have made this first year a success. In the past 8-10 months we have seen the newly re-opened course and club mature quite a bit. The course has remained spectacular due to the diligence and professionalism of Mark Isley and his team. We have grown as well from about 30 caddies to about 130 and for each one as they gain in experience, they continue to raise their standards. Our Golf Operations teams headed by Ibu Yuni (Pro Shop and Reservations) and Pak Nyoman (Golf Ops), have enabled us to grow from only a 1000 rounds in March to over 3000 in our best month with professional fluidity, and our Chef Ketut and Pak Tris and their teams have brought the highest standards of food and service into our golf atmosphere. And of course our Sales and Marketing Team under Ibu Ocha continue to think of new and creative ways for you to enjoy BNGC and its events.
I would also like to thank those behind the scenes leaders and their teams for what they do in providing a seamless smooth functioning golf resort including, Pak Vishesh, Ibu Andriyani, Pak Roy, Ibu Audrey, Ibu Tini, Pak Rochimin, Pak Ponco, Pak Edi, Pak Fidi, Pak Winarta, Pak Made, and all of their support staff who make it possible.
I do hope that you will join us in our special Thanksgiving Golf Day event coming Friday and Saturday, 21 & 22 November. Its unique format will be a 2 man (person) team event especially designed so that you can “Thank” your partner when he or she bails you out of trouble. We will have a welcoming cocktail the evening before, and awarding dinner on the day of. With lots of prizes, food, and drink, no doubt we will have much to be thankful for.
