Nusa Dua, Bali – Bali National Golf Club hosted it’s 3rd Annual Australia Day Golf event on Friday January 26 2018 with the Bali golf community really getting into the spirit of the day.

Over 120 golfers from all nationalities supported the event. Many were dressed in Australiana themed outfits. Players were welcomed with Vegemite Sandwiches, stood for the Australia Fair national anthem and them enjoyed a social afternoon on course which included such novelty on course events such as “Throw the Thong”.

After golf, players enjoyed an Aussie BBQ and competed for the traditional  Lammington Cake Eating Competition.

“We were extremely pleased with the support of the Bali Golf Community from all nationalities who really got into the spirit of Australia Day. It was a great way to bring the local community together and enjoy a social afternoon at Bali National” added Mark Holland General Manager, Bali National Golf Club.

Bali National Golf Clubs hosted several open golf events throughout the year for the local golf community and visitors to Bali.
